About the art

Old myths. Premium prints.

Every design pulls from Japanese mythology. Here's what they mean.

般若

Hannya

Jealous demon · transformation

The mask of a woman consumed by jealousy until she became a demon. Power born of pain. A reminder in Japanese art that transformation cuts both ways.

Oni

Ogre · protector of gates

Ogre. Demon. Protector. Wears horns, carries iron. Guards the gate between worlds. The Oni isn't evil. The Oni is whatever you can't get past.

怪獣

Kaiju

Strange beast · ancient

Strange beast. The thing that came up from the deep. Older than the city it visits. In the old prints, the Kaiju doesn't fight humans. The Kaiju just shows up.

That's what the brand is named after — and what every print is about.
